SLP Job in Downey, CA: Join Our Pediatric Clinic
Are you a Speech Language Pathologist who loves working with kids? Our Downey clinic is looking for a compassionate SLP to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to children and make a lasting impact on how they communicate.
What You’ll Do
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in pediatric clients
- Build individualized treatment plans around each child’s specific goals and challenges
- Deliver therapy using evidence-based techniques to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and communication
- Reassess regularly and adapt your approach as clients progress
- Collaborate closely with other SLPs and take part in client progress meetings
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately, and submit timely reports that meet professional and ethical standards
- Supervise students and Clinical Fellows as needed
What You’ll Bring
- A Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- An SLP license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification (preferred)
