In-Home Early Intervention SLPA – Downey, CA
Do you love working with little ones and their families? Speech Improvement Center is hiring an Early Intervention SLPA in Downey to provide speech and language therapy in children’s homes, with support and direction from our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
In This Position, You Will:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to young children at home
- Implement treatment plans developed by your supervising SLP
- Work with SLPs to complete speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP supervision
- Record client progress and treatment plan adjustments accurately
- Collaborate with our team of SLPs and SLPAs and attend regular team meetings
To Be Considered, You Should Have:
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and on a team with guidance from a licensed SLP
