Early Intervention SLPA Job – Los Angeles, CA
Speech Improvement Center is adding an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to our in-home therapy team in Los Angeles. You’ll help infants, toddlers, and young children reach their speech and language goals through hands-on sessions in their own homes, supervised by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Duties
- In-home therapy with young children, focused on communication skills and individual goals
- Implementation of treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Support with speech screenings
- Administration and scoring of standardized tests under SLP guidance
- Accurate, current documentation of client progress and treatment adjustments
- Active collaboration with SLPs and SLPAs, including regular team meetings
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team with guidance from a licensed SLP
