Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Gardena Clinic
At Speech Improvement Center in Gardena, CA, our Speech Language Pathologists lead each child’s therapy from first evaluation to final goal. We’re hiring an SLP to assess, plan, and deliver pediatric speech and language therapy as part of our collaborative clinical team.
Your Role
- Complete comprehensive speech and language assessments and diagnoses
- Create personalized treatment plans that address specific communication challenges
- Provide therapy focused on articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and communication skills, using evidence-based methods
- Track client progress and fine-tune treatment strategies along the way
- Work closely with other SLPs to keep therapy coordinated and effective
- Join meetings to review client progress and share ideas
- Maintain thorough client records and deliver timely reports that follow professional and ethical guidelines
- Supervise students and Clinical Fellows if needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification is a plus
