SLPA Opportunity at Our San Bernardino, CA Clinic
We’re hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join Speech Improvement Center in San Bernardino. You’ll work alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide speech and language therapy to children and help them make meaningful progress.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work within a team and independently under the guidance of a licensed SLP
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct therapy that improves children’s communication skills
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by the supervising SLP
- Assist in conducting speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP guidance
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and progress notes
- Collaborate with SLPs and SLPAs and participate in regular team meetings
