Make a Difference Early: In-Home SLPA Job in Santa Ana, CA
The earliest years are when speech and language support can make the biggest difference. Speech Improvement Center is looking for an enthusiastic Early Intervention SLPA to provide in-home therapy for young children in Santa Ana, supervised by our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
The Work
- Hands-on therapy sessions in the home, focused on each child’s speech and language goals
- Carrying out treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Supporting SLPs during speech screenings
- Administering and scoring standardized tests with SLP guidance
- Keeping detailed, current records of client progress and plan changes
- Collaborating with SLPs and SLPAs and sharing insights in team meetings
The Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under a licensed SLP
