School Speech-Language Pathologist – San Fernando, CA
Bring your expertise to San Fernando Valley schools. Speech Improvement Center is looking for a compassionate School SLP to help students with communication and language disorders build skills that support their success in and out of the classroom.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings to guide each student’s educational plan
- Complete thorough evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Plan and implement individualized treatment based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to reinforce therapy goals across the school day
- Regularly monitor and document student progress
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders
- Deliver detailed progress reports to parents, teachers, and administrators
Required Credentials
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- SLP license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification is preferred
