School Speech-Language Pathologist Job in Elk Grove, CA
Make a difference for students in Elk Grove. Speech Improvement Center is looking for a compassionate School SLP to provide speech and language therapy in a school setting, helping children with communication and language disorders thrive academically.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and assess students to identify speech and language disorders
- Create and carry out individualized treatment plans from assessment results
- Join IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings to contribute to each student’s educational plan
- Partner with teachers, parents, and support staff to weave therapy goals into the school day
- Track and document the progress of students receiving services
- Maintain up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and stakeholder communication
- Prepare progress reports that keep parents, teachers, and administrators informed
What You’ll Bring
- A Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- An SLP license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification (preferred)
