School-Based SLP Position – Los Angeles, CA
Speech Improvement Center is adding a School Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in Los Angeles. In this role, you’ll support children with communication and language disorders where they learn every day, working as part of each student’s educational team.
Key Duties
- Thorough speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Individualized treatment plans developed from assessment results
- Participation in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff to connect therapy goals to classroom learning
- Regular progress monitoring and documentation
- Accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders
- Detailed progress reports for parents, teachers, and administrators
Qualifications
- Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification preferred
