About the Role
You’ll help children with communication and language disorders build the skills they need to succeed academically, partnering closely with teachers, parents, and school staff.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into each student’s educational plan
- Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments of speech and language disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Contribute in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team meetings
- Monitor and document student progress on an ongoing basis
- Keep thorough records of assessments, treatment plans, and communication
- Produce progress reports for parents, teachers, and administrators
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- SLP license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification preferred
