Pediatric Early Intervention SLPA Job in Anaheim, CA
Speech Improvement Center is hiring an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to bring speech and language therapy to young children at home in Anaheim and north Orange County. Working under our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, you’ll help kids build the communication skills they need from the very start.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with SLPs to conduct speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests with guidance from the supervising SLP
- Carry out personalized treatment plans developed by the SLP
- Provide direct in-home therapy targeting communication skills and speech and language goals
- Document progress and treatment changes accurately, as directed by your SLP
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with fellow SLPs and SLPAs
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong people and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team member under a licensed SLP
