In-Home Early Intervention SLPA Job in the San Fernando Valley
Help young children build their first communication skills right where they feel most comfortable: at home. Speech Improvement Center is hiring a dedicated, enthusiastic Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-home therapy for families across the San Fernando Valley, under the guidance of our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct in-home therapy focused on each child’s speech and language goals
- Implement personalized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Assist SLPs with speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP guidance
- Keep client records accurate and current, documenting progress and plan changes as directed
- Collaborate with SLPs and fellow SLPAs and join regular team meetings to discuss client progress
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under a licensed SLP
