Early Intervention SLPA Opportunity in San Bernardino, CA
We’re hiring an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to help young children in San Bernardino build strong communication foundations. You’ll deliver therapy in families’ homes as part of a supportive team led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and within a team under the guidance of a licensed SLP
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct in-home therapy that improves children’s communication skills
- Implement individualized treatment plans created by the supervising SLP
- Assist in conducting speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP guidance
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and progress notes
- Collaborate with SLPs and SLPAs and participate in regular team meetings
