Early Intervention SLPA Opening in Palmdale, CA
Looking for part-time work that makes a real difference for families? Speech Improvement Center is hiring an Early Intervention SLPA to deliver in-home speech and language therapy to young children in Palmdale and the Antelope Valley.
About the Role
You’ll visit families at home and work directly with their children, following treatment plans designed by our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and helping track each child’s progress.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver one-on-one therapy in the home that targets each child’s communication goals
- Follow individualized treatment plans created by your supervising SLP
- Partner with SLPs on speech screenings
- Give and score standardized assessments with SLP guidance
- Document each visit and update client records as your SLP directs
- Share insights in team meetings and collaborate with fellow SLPs and SLPAs
What You’ll Bring
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Great communication and people skills
- Comfort working independently in the field and as part of a supervised team
