Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – Gardena, CA
At Speech Improvement Center in Gardena, our early intervention team helps young children build communication skills during the years that matter most. We’re hiring an Early Intervention SLPA to provide in-home therapy for South Bay families under the supervision of our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
What the Job Involves
- Implementing personalized treatment plans developed by your SLP
- Providing in-home therapy aimed at improving communication and meeting speech and language goals
- Assisting SLPs with speech screenings
- Administering and scoring standardized tests under SLP supervision
- Documenting client progress and treatment adjustments accurately
- Working closely with other SLPs and SLPAs and joining regular team meetings
What You Need
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on a team under a licensed SLP’s guidance
