The Work
- Speech therapy screenings and evaluations
- Evaluations to determine whether a child qualifies for services
- One-on-one therapy with children, plus consultations with their families
- Researching fun games and activities parents can do at home
- Writing SOAP notes and professional evaluations
- Weekly meetings to review new cases and track progress
- Ongoing speech screenings
The Requirements
- RPE license
- Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Interest in a private practice setting
- Team player
- Looking for a long-term career
