Clinical Fellow (CFY) Speech Therapist – Pacoima, CA
Speech Improvement Center is seeking a kind, motivated Clinical Fellow for our Pacoima clinic. If you’re fresh out of grad school and eager to learn, this is a chance to get hands-on experience with kids and families, with experienced SLPs supporting you one-on-one.
In This Position, You Will:
- Provide one-on-one therapy and consult family members on therapy sessions
- Conduct speech therapy screenings and evaluations
- Evaluate children to determine whether they qualify for services
- Research fun games and activities parents can use to practice at home
- Write SOAP notes and professional evaluations
- Participate in weekly meetings to review new and current cases
- Complete ongoing speech screenings
To Be Considered, You Should Have:
- An RPE license
- A Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Interest in working in private practice
- A team-player approach
- A goal of building a long-term career
