Looking for a Clinical Fellowship where you’ll be supported, not left on your own? Speech Improvement Center is hiring a Clinical Fellow (CFY) for our Norwalk location.
About the Role
As a CF in Norwalk, you’ll work with children and their families while experienced SLPs mentor you one-on-one. It’s a great fit for a kind, motivated recent graduate who wants hands-on experience on a fun, welcoming team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly meetings to review new cases and current progress
- Conduct speech therapy screenings and evaluations
- Complete evaluations to decide whether a child qualifies for services
- Provide one-on-one therapy and consult with family members on sessions
- Research fun games and activities parents can do to practice at home
- Write SOAP notes and professional evaluations
- Conduct ongoing speech screenings
Qualifications
- RPE license
- Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Want to work in a private practice setting
- Team player
