Clinical Fellow (CFY) Job at Our Gardena Clinic
At Speech Improvement Center in Gardena, CA, our Clinical Fellows get the support they need to become confident clinicians. We’re hiring a kind, motivated Clinical Fellow who has just finished grad school and is eager to learn. You’ll gain hands-on pediatric experience with one-on-one mentorship from experienced SLPs on a fun, welcoming team.
Your Role
- Perform speech therapy screenings and evaluations
- Complete evaluations to determine whether a child qualifies for services
- Lead one-on-one therapy sessions and consult with family members
- Come up with fun games and activities parents can practice at home
- Write SOAP notes and professional evaluations
- Participate in weekly meetings to review new cases and ongoing progress
- Conduct ongoing speech screenings
Requirements
- RPE license
- Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Want to work in a private practice setting
- Team player
