Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Job in Cerritos, CA
Just finished grad school and ready to start your CFY? Speech Improvement Center’s Cerritos clinic is looking for a kind, motivated Clinical Fellow who is eager to learn. You’ll gain hands-on pediatric experience with one-on-one support from experienced SLPs, and a welcoming team will help you grow every step of the way.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech therapy screenings and evaluations
- Complete evaluations to determine whether a child qualifies for services
- Provide one-on-one therapy and consult with family members about sessions
- Research fun games and activities parents can use to practice therapy at home
- Write SOAP notes and professional evaluations
- Participate in weekly meetings to review new cases and the progress of current ones
- Handle ongoing speech screenings
Qualifications
- RPE license
- Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Interest in working in a private practice setting
- Team player
- Looking for a long-term career
