Pediatric SLPA Job in Cerritos, CA
Speech Improvement Center is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) at our Cerritos clinic. You’ll work with children every day, helping our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists deliver speech and language therapy that makes a real difference.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy that targets each child’s communication goals
- Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Help conduct speech screenings alongside our SLPs
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP guidance
- Keep client records accurate and current, noting progress and plan changes as directed
- Work closely with fellow SLPs and SLPAs and take part in regular team meetings
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work both on a team and independently under a licensed SLP
