School SLPA Opportunity in San Bernardino, CA
We’re hiring a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in San Bernardino schools. As part of our school-based team, you’ll collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and fellow SLPAs to help every student grow.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans under a licensed SLP’s guidance
- Support students individually and in groups to address speech and language deficits
- Help the SLP complete assessments and screenings
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to align therapy goals with educational plans
- Assist with monitoring and documenting student progress
- Keep session records and progress notes accurate and current
- Work with other SLPAs to maintain clear communication with parents, teachers, and administrators
- Take advantage of ongoing professional development
