Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Job in Cerritos, CA
Speech Improvement Center is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for our Cerritos clinic. You’ll evaluate and treat children with speech and language disorders, design their treatment plans, and see the difference your work makes in their communication and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of speech and language disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans that target each child’s communication goals
- Provide evidence-based therapy for articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and overall communication skills
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies to fit each client’s needs
- Coordinate care with fellow SLPs and share insights in progress meetings
- Keep detailed records of assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes, and complete reports on time in line with professional and ethical standards
- Supervise students and Clinical Fellows when needed
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification preferred
