Make a Difference as an SLPA in Santa Ana, CA
Make a difference in children’s lives as an SLPA at our Santa Ana clinic. Speech Improvement Center is looking for an enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric speech and language therapy under the supervision of our licensed SLPs.
The Work
- Hands-on therapy sessions focused on each child’s speech and language goals
- Carrying out treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Supporting SLPs during speech screenings
- Administering and scoring standardized tests with SLP guidance
- Keeping detailed, current records of client progress and plan changes
- Collaborating with SLPs and SLPAs and sharing insights in team meetings
The Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under a licensed SLP
