Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Pacoima, CA
Speech Improvement Center is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for our Pacoima clinic. If you enjoy working with children and want to help them build the communication skills they need, this role is for you.
In This Position, You Will:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to pediatric clients
- Implement treatment plans developed by your supervising SLP
- Work with SLPs to complete speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP supervision
- Record client progress and treatment plan adjustments accurately
- Collaborate with our team of SLPs and SLPAs and attend regular team meetings
To Be Considered, You Should Have:
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and on a team with guidance from a licensed SLP
