Want to help little ones find their words? Speech Improvement Center is hiring a warm, dependable Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to serve families in Long Beach. You’ll deliver speech and language therapy in children’s homes as part of a supportive team led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
How You’ll Help
- Lead in-home therapy sessions that target each child’s speech and language goals
- Put treatment plans from your supervising SLP into practice
- Support SLPs with speech screenings for new clients
- Administer and score standardized tests under SLP supervision
- Document sessions, progress, and plan adjustments as your SLP directs
- Stay connected with the team through regular meetings with SLPs and SLPAs
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- A valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under a licensed SLP’s direction
