Early Intervention SLPA (In-Home) – West Covina, CA
Speech Improvement Center is looking for a caring, motivated Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to serve families in West Covina and the San Gabriel Valley. You’ll bring speech and language therapy into children’s homes, working under the supervision of our licensed SLPs.
Your Role
- Implement personalized treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP
- Provide in-home therapy sessions addressing specific speech and language goals
- Help SLPs complete speech screenings
- Administer standardized tests and score them under SLP supervision
- Maintain up-to-date records of client progress and plan adjustments
- Collaborate with SLPs and SLPAs and participate in regular team meetings
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Current Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with guidance from a licensed SLP
