School-Based SLP Job in Orange County, CA
Speech Improvement Center is hiring a compassionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in Orange County schools. You’ll help children with communication and language disorders succeed in the classroom, working closely with teachers, families, and school teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP meetings to shape each student’s educational plan
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to build therapy goals into the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Keep accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders
- Write detailed progress reports for parents, teachers, and administrators
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech Pathology
- Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or RPE license
- ASHA certification preferred
