Pediatric SLPA Position in West Covina, CA
Bring your passion for helping kids communicate to Speech Improvement Center’s West Covina clinic. We’re hiring a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric speech and language therapy under the guidance of our licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one therapy that builds each child’s speech and language skills
- Carry out treatment plans written by your supervising SLP
- Support SLPs in conducting speech screenings
- Administer and score standardized tests with SLP guidance
- Keep client records current, documenting progress and plan adjustments as directed
- Collaborate with fellow SLPs and SLPAs and contribute in regular team meetings
Required Credentials
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on a team and independently under a licensed SLP
